Boxing for your national team is a very high achievement so getting your photo on the ‘wall of fame’ is a goal set at an early age if you are part of the club.
Climbing through those ropes against the very best from whatever nation you are facing is the height of amateur boxing.
A number of these boxers went on to gain huge profiles within the sport, from commonwealth and olympic gold medalists within olympic style boxing to the paid ranks winning domestic titles and even world titles as professionals.
